Hi everyone Aaron here for Zollotech andthe iphone 12 pro and the iphone 12 pro max are both fanciful phones and they have a lotof affinities but there are some differences as well and so i wanted to help you decide whichone would be best for you and so the first thing is the price the iphone 12 pro comes in at9 99 dollars and goes all the way up to 1299 the iphone 12 pro max is a hundred dollars morefor the same storage options so 1099 up to 1 399. you can get it in 128 gigabytes 256 or 512. and itcomes in four different emblazons this year last year they had a green color that’s now gone andreplaced by this new pacific off-color color that i have here you too have silver-tongued amber and graphitegraphite is just a replacement name for infinite grey-haired but they basically examine the same from time to yearnow plainly you have a very big size difference between the two of them and a value differenceas well the iphone 12 pro is 6. 66 ounces or 189 grams or the iphone 12 pro max is 8.03 ouncesor 228 grams it’s definitely heavier you feel the difference and it feels much larger in yourhand this year because the edges are squared off the leading edge are stainless steel this year and youhave the same sort of layout you’ve had every year so you have a stainless steel edge glassfront and back and you have your power sleep wake button on the right hand side followed by your5g millimeter rippled antenna in the united states so not everybody does this but it’s for millimeterwave if you have that specifically verizon or a t on the bottom the speakers are the same althoughyou have a couple less speaker excavations this year just on the smaller size so it’s sort ofsymmetrical four composition three when it comes to the microphone and five lyric six when itcomes to the speakers now on the other side on the left hand side again you have the exactsame thing so you have your volume buttons your silent permutation and your sim placard tray and they’rein different spots this year and you can see the edge of this is an absolute fingerprint magnet andyou will have to wipe it off often but the back being that it’s matte doesn’t have that issuenow apparently one of the biggest gaps is the flaunts and the flaunts are very similar asfar as their overall pixel density but the iphone 12 pro is 6. 1 inches or 2532 by 1 170 pixels witha pixel concentration of 460 pixels per inch the iphone 12 pro max this year gets a 6.7 inch parade thelargest flaunt ever on an iphone and it’s 2778 by 1284 with 458 pixels per inch they both havefantastic see directions they get super luminous 800 nits of brightness at regular brightnessand then 1200 when playing back hdr video and they both look fantastic both of themdo use pwm to control the brightness which conveys the screens are shimmering even though youcan’t see this with your gaze but they do flash but they’re at a high enough rate this yearwhere they don’t bother my attentions at all where they have in the past so if you had issues withthat you really shouldn’t see a difference now the other big difference between the twoof them other than weight and overall sizing is the battery the iphone 12 pro has a 2 815 milliamp hour battery and the 12 pro max has a 3 687 milliamp hour battery and that artillery doesmake a difference when it is necessary to overall screen on time and usage when you’re using your phoneday to epoch the iphone 12 pro will get about six hours of screen on time depending on how you’reusing it with the iphone 12 pro max you can expect closer to about 11 or 12 hours of screen on timewith normal use this is my daily phone now and you’ll see if i go back a few dates depending onthe day it’s going to vary greatly but generally i’ll get about 10 hours of screen on time 3 hoursand 49 times of screen on time 16 instants of screen off age and i used it about a quarterof the battery it is therefore last-places throughout the day the iphone 12 pro in my normal use i got fiveand a half six if i was lucky so i use it the exact same route you can see i have the same iconsand everything so i used this one the 12 pro swapped the sim placard to the 12 pro max and thenused it that way now when it comes to the cameras on both sets of phones the forward-facing camerais identical in every direction it looks great does 4k 60 has hdr but the rear cameras are a little bitdifferent this year the camera module in the 12 pro max is much larger as you can see here they’rejust it’s a bigger overall which would enable a 47 large sensor on the 12 pro max that allows betterdetail and low-pitched sunlight when you’re make photos and video so that could be a huge advantage althoughwe’re not picture a big difference more but as you can see in these photos from the main camera wehave a 1.6 opening there’s nice depth of field but you can’t really verify significant differences unless youzoom highway in so there’s not a huge difference here but one thing you do get that’s a little bitdifferent on the 12 pro “youve had” optical persona stabilization which actually constitutes the lensitself float on the 12 pro max it’s actually persona stabilized via the sensor or sensor shiftoptical portrait stabilization same to that of the mirrorless camera i’m recording to now the sensoritself is larger and on a float that channel the lens is not sort of jiggling around all the time sothe sensor moves instead that is generally intention up has become a better nature to do that you also have ultrawide of course and telephoto but the telephoto is different on the 12 pro max as well it can go upto 5x optical zoom when swiping into the sensor where the 12 pro can go up to 4x you can zoom indigitally as well a little bit further but the difference is very small so because of the overallsensors and things the big difference is with the main camera with the larger sensor now bothhave lidar which assistances for better degree of province and light portraits and also augmented realityand then both of them record in 4k 60 hdr which is really incredible i recorded my 12 pro max reviewin hdr if you want to see that i actually uploaded it in hdr so if you have an hdr ability displayyou can see it but you’ll recognize the alternative 4k 60 and down now hdr so you have the hdr alternative whichis really impressive and it does a very good job now other than what i’ve already mentioned everythingelse is the same you have the same face id sensor you have the same water resistance ip6 8 six metersfor 30 minutes you have the same a1 4 cpu with six year where it will fast commission and align itself usingthe magsafe adapter and charge it 15 watts however “if youre using” a wired charger with a 20 watt adapteryou can charge 50 in 30 times on either it will slow down after that and take about an hour anda half total to charge depending on your phone and so both of these are very similar and itreally comes down to size and battery life i think for most while the cameras are different andi think in the future we’ll understand more progress with the larger sensor on the 12 pro max rightnow it’s very very close and i don’t think it certainly is relevant to a whole lot of beings the5g is the exact same you get the same hurries the same quality connections with a qualcomm modemand the big difference is width and battery life so if you really want a lot of battery life theni would go with the 12 pro max if the battery life doesn’t matter as much and you want something thatfits in your hand a little bit better well then i would go with the 12 pro both are excellent phonesbeing that they’re within 100 of each other that additional 100 may make a difference for you as wellso really keep that in sentiment but truly they’re very very close and the camera is a little bit betterthis year in the 12 pro max otherwise there’s no gap whatsoever the same orators the samemicrophones the same reception only size artillery and the cameras are the major thing now hopefullythat helped you decide which you should choose whether that be the 12 pro the 12 pro max or maybeeven lodging with a different phone or going with something
